Ex-half of Belgian duo Villa, Sebatiaan Vandervoode aka Moonlight Matters’ style is hard to pinpoint but certainly has no lack of personality. His versatility is his strongest point + he’s always able to adjust to the right mood for any kind of smart-witted melodic dance music with a wow factor. After leaving his mark on quality pop music with remixes for the likes of Metronomy, Is Tropical, Adele, Charlotte Gainsbourg + Lana Del Ray to name a few, he finally released his debut EP on Kitsuné.
Featuring 3 original tracks, Moonlight Matters has brought in some VIP guests for his first outing: the luminary “Come For Me”, which is also featured on the forthcoming Kitsuné Soleil Mix stars Gustaph from Hercules & Love Affair, while Azari & III’s Starving Yet Full lends his powerful pipes on the insistent and heady “Standing Up For Love.” Last but not least, the mesmeric track “Rain Dance” also promises to be a scene stealing summer essential. + 3 additional remixes of “Come For Me” are exclusively available on iTunes (Punks Jump Up), Beatoport (Junior), & Juno (Herr Style).
