True to his heritage C2V slices Eastern melodies into hooks & blends them with Western beat-making to create the kind of fun easy going tracks that can easily fill a college apartment on a hazy afternoon.

C2V’s latest Gilded Gardens collection is 16 tracks that vary wildly from the meditative & the abstract to the rave like & blissfully pop indulgent. Some are chill & some straight up bounce. Some of the tracks even take unexpected quick left turns midway through. With weird monologues, Akira samples & song titles like Chrono Cross, the Sci-fi, anime & video game influences abound. But best of all, the songs never come anywhere near melancholy, just good mood beats all around.
