Nite Jewel will reissue, with the help of Secretly Canadian, her debut album Good Evening on November 11. Recorded when she was still a college student, Good Evening was originally released on Gloriette Records in 2008. The album is dance music on an intimate scale, drawing inspiration from Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam & Arthur Russell, filtered through a lo-fi recording process. Out of print on vinyl for several years, the reissue will include 2 bonus tracks, a cover of Can forebear Inner Space’s “The Kamera Song” & a DāM-FunK remix of original track “What Did He Say”. Both are available streaming online for a limited amount of time - one week only - starting today.
“What Did He Say (Dam-Funk remix)”
